Hi all,
attached is the mail I received by Britta Wuelfing of linuxnewmedia
regarding our CeBIT booth. I answered the interview questions that are
mentioned below in another mail (will forward that later - needs some
translation).
I send this mail here, just for the records and FYI.
I am aware that someone asked me what we should put on the website. I am
not sure yet and will ask Mrs. Wuelfing about it.
(Sent again, this time without the PDF - got blocked by mailman.)
Regards,
Robert

Hi all,
this is the first mail to all projects joining in at CeBIT Open Source.
All of you will be meeting live and in person soon, so I've put
everyone's adress in the header to make the virtual introductions. In
the previous years, the projects have been able to contact each other
for organizational things, so I assume you might like to do likewise.
1. English language
I'm writing this mail in English, since there are some projects among
"the chosen ones" who won't understand German easily, so I hope
everyone's fine with this. If someone needs a translation, please come
back to me and I'll be happy to translate the information.
2. Project Lounge plan
Yesterday there was a meeting in Hannover with the CeBIT-people, and I
can send around a new plan, showing the project lounge in hall 2. Each
project will get one PC counter, which can be locked, and two chairs,
internet access and power supply. You will all get a key to your counter
on the day of your arrival.
3. Project logo as vector graphic
On top of the counter there is a free space which will be labeled with
your project logo, professionally designed and printed by CeBIT. Please
send a vector graphic of your project logo, including the name of the
project as soon as possible, so the organizational team can forward it
to the printing company.
4. Project's adress data
We'll have to register all projects in the online system of CeBIT, so
your project will be able to order free visitor's tickets and more.
Therefor I need you to send in a complete adress for your project.
Unfortunately, due to legal reasons, the system doesn't accept the name
of a private person as exhibitor, so it's imperative that you name a
corporate body or legal entity, such as KDE e.V. or Blender Foundation
under the adress you provide, used also for the online catalogue of CeBIT.
5. Project info for web sites
If you haven't done so already, please don't forget to send in the
interview questions for the linux-magazine.com web sites.
I'll be back with more details soon.
Best regards,
Britta
