Introduction
This release is a tag in the git repository. This has been tested for several combinations as listed below in the table. This does not cover all the possible combinations The list provides the information about what different DISTRO, MACHINE, IMAGE combinations were tested.
Getting 2010.12 Release
The release can be obtained using
$ git clone git://git.openembedded.org/openembedded
$ cd openembedded
$ git checkout release-2010.12
or
$ git checkout -b release-2010.12 release-2010.12
Second option will create a local branch from the release tag so you don't end up with detached HEAD state.
